The 11th English Olympics took place at NMS Langenzerdorf this year. Each middle school in Bez. Korneuburg can send one team consisting of four students from the fourth class. This year we sent: Anina Derler, Lena Ristov, Louisa Puchinger and Phillip Sorf. They worked together with Mrs. Maynard to train for the competition.
At the competition, they spent the morning speaking English and completing tasks for points. There were nine stations and at seven of them the students could earn 20 points (for a total of 140). Knowledge from Biology, Geography, History, Music, Sports and Cooking was needed to complete the tasks. Two of the stations were for the students to relax and refuel. The team with the most points wins. This year, it was our school, NMS Harmannsdorf!
